InTwo is more than just a duo - we are sisters who have been singing together for as long as we can remember. Growing up, music filled our home. As children, we would put on “concerts” for our family, standing at the top of the stairs while they sat at the bottom as our audience. What began as playful performances quickly became a shared passion.

 

Throughout our school years, we both immersed ourselves in music. We sang in choirs and bands, constantly learning new repertoire and developing our skills. Kelly continued her musical training through her Music degree at the University of Southampton, while Cara studied Performing Arts in Hitchin. As teenagers, we both studied vocal technique and continue refining our craft. Harmony has always been at the heart of what we do. There is something truly special about sibling harmonies - that natural blend that cannot be manufactured. We have always been inspired by close-harmony artists such as The Andrews Sisters, Simon & Garfunkel, and The Everly Brothers, and we share a deep love of arranging songs to suit our voices.

 

One of our most meaningful musical moments came when we created our own arrangement of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, which we performed at our grandad’s funeral. Working on that arrangement together strengthened not only our musicianship, but our understanding of the emotional power of harmony. Since then, we have built a diverse repertoire filled with songs we genuinely love to perform - pieces rich in harmony, storytelling, and feeling. From the timeless interpretations of Eva Cassidy to unexpected anthems by Metallica, we enjoy bringing our own vocal blend and style to every song.

 

As InTwo, we perform at a wide variety of events including wedding breakfasts, drinks receptions, wartime commemorations, birthday celebrations, pubs, bars, and private functions. Depending on the occasion, our sets can include Jazz, Swing, Country, Musical Theatre, and Popular music through the decades - always tailored to suit the atmosphere and audience.
